When Rockstar Games released GTA VI Trailer 2 on May 6, 2025, it did more than give players another look at Vice City and the state of Leonida. The accompanying update to the official GTA VI website introduced a fuller set of character profiles, putting names, motives, and relationships around protagonists Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos.
That matters because Rockstar has confirmed very little about GTA VI’s story structure beyond its central couple. These profiles are our clearest official look yet at the people likely to shape their criminal life: longtime friends, local operators, hustlers, music-industry personalities, and figures with deeper ties to Leonida’s underworld.
They are not a mission list, a confirmation of playable characters, or a guide to GTA VI’s systems. Still, they give us useful clues about the kind of world Rockstar is building—and plenty for players, roleplay communities, and future creators to keep in mind.
Rockstar introduced a wider circle around Jason and Lucia
On its official GTA VI website, Rockstar describes Jason and Lucia as a couple whose attempt at an easy score goes wrong, placing them in the middle of a conspiracy that reaches across Leonida. The supporting profiles make that premise feel more grounded than a simple two-person crime spree.
The named cast includes Cal Hampton, Boobie Ike, Dre’Quan Priest, Real Dimez, Raul Bautista, and Brian Heder. Each profile is short, but Rockstar’s choices are telling: these are not presented as anonymous mission contacts. They occupy different parts of the setting, from nightlife and music to smuggling, robbery, and the old-school criminal economy.
That range fits the wider Rockstar approach. GTA stories often start with a relatively personal problem before pulling protagonists through intersecting social circles. GTA VI appears positioned to explore Leonida through Jason and Lucia’s relationships rather than treating the map as a collection of disconnected activities.
Cal Hampton appears to be Jason’s closest friend
Rockstar describes Cal Hampton as Jason’s friend and a man who spends his time monitoring Coast Guard communications from home. The profile paints him as a conspiracy-minded character who is content to stay in his comfort zone, which could make him a useful contrast to Jason’s willingness to take risks.
Officially, that is all we know. It would be reasonable to expect Cal to provide information, comic relief, or a doorway into coastal activity, but Rockstar has not confirmed missions, heists, surveillance mechanics, or any gameplay function connected to him. A radio scanner in a character bio is atmosphere, not a feature announcement.
Brian Heder connects Jason to Leonida’s older criminal world
Brian Heder is described as a veteran drug runner who lets Jason live rent-free at one of his properties in exchange for local work. His profile also establishes that he runs a boat yard with his third wife, Lori.
This is one of the more concrete relationship details Rockstar has published. Jason is not simply dropped into Vice City with no connections; he already has a debt and a working arrangement with someone established in the area. For story fans, that gives Jason a clearer starting point. For roleplay players, it is also a familiar and effective setup: a character with a roof over their head, a job to do, and limited freedom to walk away.
It does not confirm that boats, boat yards, or smuggling will be player-owned systems. The official profile establishes Brian’s business and Jason’s connection to it, nothing more.
The official profiles point to several sides of Leonida
Boobie Ike, Dre’Quan Priest, and the duo Real Dimez bring a distinctly different corner of the setting into view. Rockstar describes Boobie as a Vice City legend with legitimate-looking ventures spanning real estate, a strip club, and a recording studio. Dre’Quan is presented as an ambitious music entrepreneur who moves away from street dealing to build a music career, while Real Dimez are Bae-Luxe and Roxy, longtime friends who have found attention through rap tracks and social media.
None of that confirms a music-management activity, a social-media mechanic, or player businesses. What it does confirm is that Rockstar wants Vice City to feel economically and culturally layered. The characters are attached to industries, brands, and ambitions rather than existing only as labels for crime missions.
That could be especially useful for the GTA community once the game is available on PC and its modding environment becomes clearer. A believable city needs more than supercars and police chases. Future fictional servers, character packs, interiors, fashion assets, radio projects, and story-driven resources can draw inspiration from the same broader sense of place—without copying Rockstar’s characters or assets.
Raul Bautista is the clearest robbery-world connection
Raul Bautista is identified by Rockstar as an experienced bank robber who is always looking for people ready to take bigger risks for bigger rewards. His profile naturally invites players to think about major robbery missions, but the official wording stops short of confirming any particular heist structure.
Rockstar has a long history with elaborate robberies, and the Trailer 2 footage includes several high-stakes criminal moments. Even so, it is important not to turn that history into a feature list. GTA VI may have large robberies, smaller jobs, scripted sequences, or a mixture of all three; Rockstar has not explained the format.
What this does—and does not—say about GTA VI Online and roleplay
The character pages do not announce GTA Online plans, a roleplay platform, FiveM support, or a modding policy. They also do not confirm co-op story missions, custom businesses, or multiplayer access to the places shown in the profiles.
For FiveM communities and server owners, the useful takeaway is thematic rather than technical. Rockstar’s official setup emphasizes overlapping circles: criminal crews, waterfront operations, entertainment businesses, local celebrities, and people trying to turn a hustle into something larger. Those are strong foundations for roleplay scenarios because they create natural reasons for characters to cooperate, compete, owe favors, and make questionable decisions at 2 a.m.
But no one should treat the profiles as a roadmap for future multiplayer resources. GTA VI’s PC availability, modding ecosystem, Rockstar’s technical architecture, and the status of any Cfx.re-related integration have not been confirmed through these character pages. Information about current or future events is speculative and might not accurately represent the current or future events.
Why the character update is worth revisiting
Official GTA VI coverage is often reduced to release-date talk, screenshots, and trailer frame analysis. Rockstar’s character profiles are more useful than another blurry theory because they are direct source material. They establish who Jason and Lucia know, the pressures around them, and the social territory the story intends to cover.
For now, the best approach is simple: separate the confirmed details from the fun extrapolation. Rockstar has confirmed the names, basic backgrounds, and connections described on its official site. It has not confirmed mission roles, player ownership, mechanics, online modes, PC specifications, or mod support connected to any of them.
As GTA VI news develops, that distinction will save players a lot of disappointment—and help creators focus on the details that are actually worth building around.
