Technical & Usage Information: We automatically collect your IP address (Device Identifier), browser type, operating system, and data regarding your interactions with the Site (e.g., download history, links clicked, and search queries).
Cookies: We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and detect fraudulent activity.

File Metadata: When you upload an archive, you are responsible for the contents. We do not automatically scrub metadata from files within your archives. Ensure your “Readme” files or internal mod data do not contain personal information you do not wish to be public.
License Grant: By uploading content to SixMods.net, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, cache, and distribute those files. You retain all ownership rights to your original work.

5. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

SixMods.net is intended for a general adult audience (targeting users aged 25+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen (13). If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

6. YOUR RIGHTS (CHOICE AND OPT-OUT)

Access & Correction: You may update your profile information at any time through your Account Settings.
Deletion: You may request the deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us at help@sixmods.net. Please note that some technical logs may be retained for a limited period as required for security or legal audit purposes.
Communication: You may opt out of non-transactional emails using the “Unsubscribe” link provided in those messages.

7. SECURITY

We employ commercially reasonable security measures (including SSL encryption and firewalls) to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password.
